The work you will do:
- Health Promotion, well baby/well mom programs, Immunization, and community wellness programs
- Establish and promote education programs and campaigns (e.g., flu shot campaigns) within the community
- Work collaboratively within an expanded scope of practice providing healthcare services to clients
- Utilize observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching skills according to care plans
- Ensure the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort, and safety of clients are met to the greatest extent within your scope of practice

Who You Are:
- You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and possess a valid nursing license in good standing
- You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
- You are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in your desired province or territory
- You meet the required work experience
- Mandatory skillsets, training requirements, and reimbursements will be discussed during the interview

ExperienceRequired:- At least 2 years (3000 hours) of full-time experience as a Public Health Nurse OR
- One year (1500 hours) of full-time experience within the past five years working in remote, isolated, or semi-isolated communities as a Public Health Nurse
