The work you will do:
- Lead and support health promotion initiatives, including well-baby and well-mom programs, immunization clinics, and community wellness activities
- Plan and deliver education programs and campaigns (e.g., flu shot awareness) to promote healthy living within the community
- Work collaboratively in a team-based environment, practicing within an expanded scope to provide comprehensive healthcare services
- Apply advanced nursing skills in observation, assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching, aligned with individualized care plans
- Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients at all times, within the scope of practice

Who You Are:
- You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing
- You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
- You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work
- You meet the required work experience
- Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interview

Qualifications Education RequiredBachelors or better.
Experience RequiredA minimum of 3,000 hours within the past 5 years as a Public Health Nurse
OR 1,500 hours within the past 5 years providing care in remote, isolated, or semi-isolated communities as a Public Health Nurse.
