• Perform and adhere to IPAC best practices for a variety of cleaning activities such as:
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming
• Emptying garbage receptacles, cleaning bathrooms
• Completing cleaning after patient discharge
• Follow IPAC and company procedures for admission room, discharge, and isolation and/or outbreak client room and unit cleaning.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to our high standards.
• Protect equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
• Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
• Handle reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Strictly adhere to health and safety rules and be aware of any company-related practices.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Completion of secondary school diploma preferred and/or Home Support Programs as appropriate.

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position or life experience.
• Ability to travel locally from assignment to assignment.

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly; maintains Bayshore's exceptional reputation.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality or standards of service.
• Able to freely lift 23 kgs., stand, bend, squat, kneel and reach freely.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Eager, with a positive attitude and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Ability to provide a clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening.
