Join Our Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at CTVRC/EC!

Are you passionate about veterinary medicine and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, supportive environment? Central Toronto Veterinary and Referral & Emergency Clinic (CTVRC/EC) is seeking a dedicated RVT to join our Emergency Care Service.

• Days, Evenings, & Overnights options available!
  • 10‑hour and 12‑hour shifts
• Rotational weekends, most likely every other weekend

• $26 – $35 based on experience & skill set
• $2 shift premiums between 7 PM and 7 AM.
• $2,500 Sign‑on bonus!

• Triage and Assess: Perform triage duties and document evaluations for animals with critical conditions, including shock, acute illness, trauma, and toxicity.
• Advanced Medical Procedures: Execute advanced procedures like thoracentesis, ultrasounds, central line placement, epidurals, and more, with the support of our experienced team.
• Nursing Care: Provide top‑notch nursing care to in‑house and out‑patients, including TPRs, catheterization, wound management, and rehabilitation therapy.
• Surgical Support: Assist in full‑scope surgery services from prep to post‑op recovery, ensuring the highest standards of care.

New graduates are welcome!

• Graduation from an OAVT‑accredited college program.
• Passed or in the process of writing the VTNE.
• OAVT membership in good standing.
• Collaborative clinical approach and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to patient care, customer service, respect, and accountability.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role.
