Researcher
- Impact Framework & Knowledge Mobilization — Contract until March 31, 2026. Toronto/Six Nations/Remote. Hourly Rate: $37.50-$48.50. Open Until Filled.

RoleWe are currently hiring a Researcher to join our Research & Impact Unit department. Reporting to the Lead Researcher, the Researcher will support the expansion and implementation of Indspire’s Impact Framework
, focusing on qualitative research to capture and communicate Indspire’s impact. This includes leading interviews with alumni and beneficiaries, synthesizing findings, and helping translate stories into visual and narrative formats for publication and stakeholder engagement.
- Leading qualitative research projects (e.g., alumni interviews, focus groups, case studies).
- Developing methodologies and tools aligned with Indigenous storytelling and evaluation principles.
- Collaborating with production and design teams to produce accessible impact stories and visuals.
- Drafting written outputs for reports, briefs, and external communications.
- Supporting the development of an “Impact Measurement and Storytelling Strategy.”
- Graduate degree in Social Sciences, Education, or Indigenous Studies.
- 3+ years of qualitative research experience, preferably with Indigenous communities.
- Strong writing, analysis, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with Indigenous research ethics and participatory approaches.
- Assessment of current impact factors
- Impact framework operationalization plan and narrative synthesis.
- Identify and develop recurring assessment tools to capture impact factors
- Establish the structural setup of the analysis and report product on the Impact Report
- Framework report draft for Indspire’s Impact Report.
