Assistant Store Manager

Our Bon Look Toronto Eaton Centre is looking for a dedicated assistant store manager to fill an existing vacancy. You will bring your exceptional skills and experience to our dynamic retail environment.

This is a full‑time position (30‑40 hours per week) that requires availability on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The store is open Monday to Sunday, so evening and weekend availability are essential.

• Support the Store Manager in executing overall store strategies and operations.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance, aligning with organizational goals.
• Motivate and influence team members by empowering them and fostering enthusiasm to achieve store objectives.
• Plan, delegate, and manage team responsibilities across all areas of the business.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by providing clear direction and cultivating a shared vision.
• Promote open communication through active listening and a transparent, trust‑based culture.
• Champion company initiatives, evaluate their effectiveness, and implement best practices to strengthen and enhance the brand.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience and creating value for every customer.
• Support store operations by performing additional duties as required.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Previous experience in customer service and retail preferred.
• Understanding of operations, processes, and business performance.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Proven ability to inspire, coach, and mentor a team while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive with a growth mindset, capable of managing changing priorities effectively.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of optical theory and eyewear merchandise is considered an asset.
