Security guards are committed to our brand values and deliver superior customer service to tenants, guests, and employees. They actively seek opportunities to assist and support customers, instilling confidence through professionalism and knowledge.

Guards maintain a visible, reassuring presence through patrols and posts, acting as deterrents to crime and helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

• Provide exceptional service to enhance customer experience;
• Ensure compliance with property standards, rules, and regulations;
• Perform patrols (foot, bicycle, vehicle) and engage with tenants, guests, and employees;
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions, safety concerns, and emergencies;
• Enforce property rules fairly and responsibly;
• Support health and safety initiatives and report hazards;
• Observe and report criminal activity, assist police, and respond to emergencies;
• Prepare reports and manage access control and vehicle traffic;
• Support green initiatives and energy conservation efforts.

• Basic computer skills;
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Excellent customer service and communication skills;
• Discretion, decision-making, tact, and diplomacy;
• Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment;
• Flexible, adaptable, and a team player;
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
• Experience in customer service or security is an asset;
• WHMIS and safety courses are assets.

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, Ontario Security Guard License, Vulnerable Sector Check;
• Completion of First Aid & CPR Level C, Management of Aggressive Behavior, Use of Force, and Report Writing training prior to placement.
