This role is available in Toronto, ON with a base pay range of CA $18.00 per hour. Compensated at CA $18.25 per hour.
DescriptionAs a Security Concierge, you’ll be responsible for assisting residents by providing information and services as needed. This role requires someone who is self‑motivated, outgoing, detail‑oriented, and has excellent communication and organizational skills.
Shift ScheduleSaturday and Sunday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am.
Site LocationToronto, ON.
Your Responsibilities- Identify and clarify residents’ needs and desires, answering questions and giving directions and instructions.
- Remain calm under pressure and act quickly.
- Manage and screen messages.
- Schedule access for authorized vendors to provide services within units.
- Maintain guest privacy and reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining two personal networks.
- Enhance department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
- Ensure all safety and access control procedures are followed, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Provide protection to clients, residents, and property; assist with customer inquiries and direct as required.
- Observe floors and stairways, ensuring they are clear of debris, obstructions, and fire hazards, and that access doors to sensitive/priority areas are locked. Be alert to deficiencies that could cause injury or loss of client assets.
- Enforce client rules, regulations, municipal, Ontario, and Canadian laws; assist police and medical staff when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors.
- Perform routine property patrols of all building levels, parking areas, and perimeters, responding to emergencies and fire alarms.
- Follow up with daily documentation, occurrence logs, incident reports, and front‑desk software as required.
- Follow all on‑site procedures, including employee handbook policies, training checklists, standing orders or SOPs, client policies, and First Service Residential policies.
- Must possess a valid Ontario Security License.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of college‑level courses in Business/Hospitality or Police/Security Foundations is an asset.
- Must be able to lift 50 lb.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to communicate with clients both on the phone and in person to resolve issues and manage business.
