Role Impact:
To provide dispatch communication to Security Guards regarding incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc., and log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions, and to direct back-up support as necessary and to provide indirect supervision of security officers.

Dispatch Security Guards to incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc.Log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructionsDirect back-up support as necessaryInform management of major incidentsAssist in maintenance of Card Index SystemMaintain the Camera Surveillance SystemConduct security equipment auditsMaintain key control, lost and found and emergency contact listsProvide training and coaching on an ad-hoc basisPerform other duties as assignedWhat your strengths are:
A valid provincial Security License (if required)A Security Diploma or equivalentIncident Management or Basic Emergency Management certification considered an asset.- years experience with a security firm or similar backgroundA minimum of years experience at retail and office mixed use complexA working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety ActKnowledge of Trespass to Property ActThe ability to function in a fast-paced environmentA strong customer service focus and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills, oral and writtenCurrent CPR/First Aid certification (asset)Why you should join us:
