What You’ll Do

Lead the development of Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
, following modern engineering principles and best practices.

Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver high-performing, user-friendly mobile experiences.

Participate in agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of features with high standards of quality and performance.

Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and libraries—particularly in Android and Jetpack Compose.

Contribute to team initiatives and provide valuable technical input during planning and architecture discussions.

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, supporting their development in Android engineering and system design.

Work cross-functionally with developers across iOS, Web, API, and other platforms to ensure consistency and alignment.

Own major components of the mobile platform, working with senior engineers to maintain architectural integrity.

Promote best practices and process improvements across teams, continuously improving team efficiency and code quality.

Tackle technical challenges with creative problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.

Conduct code reviews, providing thoughtful and constructive feedback to maintain clean, idiomatic Kotlin and Compose code.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

4+ years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships)

2+ years of experience building native Android applications

2+ years of experience with Kotlin

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of Android development experience

3+ years of Kotlin experience

1+ year of experience with Jetpack Compose

Experience working with open-source frameworks

Familiarity with Agile development practices
