We build unforgettable gaming experiences and we’re looking for a client‑side engineer with senior software engineer experience to join our distributed team. We value strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Position OverviewYou will work on user-facing features (UI/UX), core gameplay functionality, engine‑level systems, and modernization of legacy systems. You should have strong knowledge of Unity and C#, with at least five years of experience in the game industry. You will own feature work through design, architecture, development, testing, release, and monitoring, writing clean code, documenting systems, and mentoring junior engineers. The role also offers full‑stack development, including PHP server work and React web tools for internal customers.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Architect and develop features and gameplay functionality in Unity and C#.
- Explore engine‑level systems and extend them as needed.
- Integrate new technologies and SDKs.
- Develop tools for content creators.
- Define and scope tasks and systems.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education/work experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience as a software developer.
- Strong working knowledge of C#.
- 2+ years of Unity experience.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software methodologies.
- Prior game development experience on shipped titles or live games.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with Git.
- Mobile development experience focused on iOS and/or Android.
- Performance profiling and platform optimization.
- Experience supporting live‑ops games with tools such as Bug Snag or Sentry.
- Experience with backend systems.

Compensation for the Toronto position ranges from $96,400 to $142,660 per year, with additional bonuses, equity, 401(k), and other perks.
