About This Role
Our mobile apps are essential to our vision: empowering entrepreneurs to chase their dreams. We deliver a world‑class mobile experience through stunning design, great UX, and rigorous engineering practices. Our development cycle includes MVPs, weekly production deployments, A/B testing, data‑driven iteration, and a focus on secure, testable, maintainable, responsive, and performant code.

Responsibilities

Lay the foundations to modernize infrastructure and improve developer velocity, application performance, stability, and team processes with a long‑term perspective.

Scale the entire mobile engineering team’s processes and systems.

Coach and mentor junior engineers in a fast‑paced, hyper‑growth environment to upskill on technical expertise and decision making.

Raise the bar on the quality of our mobile apps.

We're Excited About You Because You Have

4+ years of iOS experience with multiple apps shipped to the App Store.

Experience shipping and maintaining a mobile app over an extended period and scaling to millions of users is a plus.

A passion for programming with strong problem‑solving and architecture abilities.

A love for technology and an insatiable curiosity for new tools to solve real problems.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

Previous experience on a platform team and a passion for scaling systems for a growing organization and user base.

A high bar for engineering excellence.

Curiosity to drive engineering impact outside of the iOS tech stack.

Salary Range
Canada: $156,000 – $214,500 per year. The role is eligible for equity and other benefits; base pay is determined by transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location.

Hybrid Work Policy
Hybrid Faire employees are expected to work in the office two days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Starting January 2026, an additional flex day (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday) is required. Hybrid roles may work remotely up to four weeks per year. Some positions may require full‑time onsite attendance.
