Senior Software Engineer

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our large Fin Tech client's teams on a 4-month contract. In this role, you will work as a member of an agile team contributing to the development of a web-based application that helps issuers and merchants manage dispute outcomes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable features and ensure high-quality releases through modern testing practices.
-Design, build, and deploy new features in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment
-Develop and maintain automated test cases for APIs, microservices, web apps, and backend systems
-Enhance shared automation libraries and frameworks across teams
-Ensure stability and reliability of regression test suites
-Troubleshoot defects and support development teams in resolution
-Continuously improve testing strategies, coverage, and efficiency
-Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Skills and Requirements
-Strong experience in automated testing frameworks
-Proficiency in testing APIs, microservices, and web applications
-Familiarity with Agile development practices

- Experience with IBM Db2 and/or Postgres
-Familiarity with Liquibase or Flyway
-Unix shell scripting null
