About The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer in the GTA to join a growing web development team. You will be responsible for leading the development of robust and scalable web applications in Angular, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and mentoring junior developers. This is a full‑time permanent position offering a hybrid (4 days in office) structure with the office located in North York.
What are the primary responsibilities of this role?
Architect, design, develop, and maintain high‑performance web applications using modern front‑end frameworks.
Collaborate with back‑end developers to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices and technical skills.
Stay up‑to‑date with emerging front‑end technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven expertise with modern versions of Angular
Comfortability building complex applications from scratch and maintaining large‑scale codebases in either or both frameworks.
Deep understanding and hands‑on experience with Kendo UI (or equivalent) Component Libraries for Angular.
Proficiency in Type Script, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass.
Experience with state management patterns and libraries (e.g., NgRx).
Strong knowledge & experience of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
In‑depth knowledge & experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
A strong understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions).
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git (Git Hub).
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
A solid understanding of UI/UX principles.
Educational Requirements
University degree
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in front‑end web development.
