A Door Dash engineering team is looking for an experienced machine learning engineer to develop cutting‑edge ML models that power Door Dash's pricing, selection, affordability, and growth strategies. Join us in building the world's most reliable on‑demand logistics engine for last‑mile delivery.

• Develop ML‑driven systems that ensure Door Dash pricing remains affordable and fair across all restaurant selections and occasions.
• Create AI solutions that optimize deals and promotions for relevancy and efficiency, intelligently adapting to evolving consumer ordering behaviors.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to shape product roadmaps through AI/ML innovations.
• Own the complete modeling lifecycle from feature creation through deployment, experimentation, monitoring, explainability, and maintenance.

• 6+ years of industry experience developing and leading advanced machine learning initiatives with measurable business impact and production‑deployed solutions.
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Physics, Economics, or another quantitative field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical expertise in Python, Spark, and PyTorch for machine learning applications.
• Experience with statistics, causal inference, multi‑objective optimization, or deep learning (preferred).

Base salary ranges (localized to work location):
I4: $120,000—$150,000 CAD
I5: $149,500—$187,000 CAD
I6: $185,000—$231,500 CAD
