We’re looking for an AI Developer II to join our growing team!
What you'll do here:
Participate in the design, development and evolution of microservices, APIs and reusable libraries for the execution of our algorithms in mission critical production environments.
Help evolve AI-based and machine-learning software products
Support and be proactively involved in problem situations or issues.
Works and collaborates closely with Data Scientists to facilitate research.
Using best practices in software engineering in AI field and Introduce Data Scientists to best practices in coding.
Implement new workflows to integrate AI models into Applications and Solutions.
Integrate Dev Ops concept and tools to provide an Agile and scalable environment.
What you bring to the table:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
5 years of experience in software development.
Proficiency with Python.
Good understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithm design techniques.
Experienced with machine learning libraries and scientific calculation such as Scikit-learn, Num Py, Sci Py, etc.
Experienced with software engineering life cycle and agile methodologies.
A developer passionate about artificial intelligence, able to interact with software engineers, data scientists and R&D teams
An agent of change.
Adept at translating a business problem into a technology solution.
Comfortable working in complex environments that are constantly evolving and multidisciplinary team.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
Assets:
Familiarity with machine learning and data processing frameworks. such as XGBoost, Tensor Flow or Spark.
Familiarity with data storage and warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Mongo
DB, S3.
Familiarity with AWS technologies such as Kinesis, Lambda and Cloud Watch.
Familiarity with event streaming or message queue systems such as Kafka.
Bilinguism required (FR-EN) - For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
