Global Risk Management

Global Risk Management (GRM) is responsible for determining how much the bank must provision for defaulted loans.

Project:
Global Provisions Platform is a rebranded application that is designed to calculate the expected and provision credit loss (PCL, ECL) for these business lines:
Retail Credit Risk across Canadian Banking, International Banking, Wealth and Commercial Banking.

Purpose of the application is to streamline business processes and to minimize the amount of end-user computing completed by the country managers. Being able to deliver the ECL/PCL faster to the business.

This position will give the candidate exposure to the Google Cloud Platform and the ability to lead the project team and design and implement solutions.

• 8-9 years of experience with Python, Python Flask, MS SQL) All of them.
• 5 years of experience working with Google Cloud services, example:
  Airflow & Kubernetes, Cloud storage

• Unix OS basics (Building commands)
• Capital Market knowledge
• SAS development experience,
• Docker configurations
  
  Front-end development experience
• optimization of database performance

• Ambitious, self-starter, positive attitude, strong communication skills,

The Best candidate is ambitious, is a full-stack developer, and can lead the team. Can present and articulate their ideas to innovate the application.

• Post-Secondary Education is required, but would be preferred in a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science.
