Fullstack Developer
Contract
6- 12 months (possible extension)
Toronto ON (hybrid 3 days on site)

This is an incredibly exciting time for this AI & Innovation team. The Fullstack Developer will be part of a team that builds and maintains end-to-end features working across both frontend (including Microsoft Teams-integrated interfaces) and backend APIs that power AI-driven workflows. In this Toronto-based hybrid contractor role, you’ll collaborate with cloud, backend, and LLM engineering teams to deliver seamless, AI-enabled user experiences.

Job Requirements:

Frontend Experience
Strong experience with Javascript / React / Vue
Comfortable building responsive web applications

Backend Development

Strong experience with Python for backend development
Proficiency with FastAPI (primary framework), with exposure to Django considered an asset
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience working with NodeJS is ideal
Solid understanding of application architecture, authentication, and request/response flows

Infrastructure & Dev Ops

Docker experience is required (building, deploying, and optimizing containers)

Experience with Kubernetes is an asset but not mandatory
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, etc.) is ideal but not required

General Engineering Skills

• Strong time-management skills and ability to work in a startup environment

• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and iterating quickly
