About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Programmer with expertise in Playwright to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, and a strong background in using Playwright for automated testing.
This is a remote role Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
Design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and methodologies.
Ensure test coverage and quality of the software applications by performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
Mentor and guide junior team members in test automation best practices and techniques.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and technologies.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in test automation with a strong focus on Playwright .
Proficient in programming languages such as Typescript, Java, Python, or PHP.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Bitbicket pipelines, Git Lab CI, or Circle
CI.
Experience testing API’s and Desktop software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of other test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, TestNG, JUnit) is a plus.
