We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in automation testing across UI and API layers, particularly within the banking domain.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks, scripting in Java, and CI/CD pipeline creation.
This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through robust automated testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform automation testing for applications, including both UI and API layers.
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
- Test APIs using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and Karate.
- Write and maintain automation scripts in Java.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards.
- Use version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Work within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in QA automation.
- Strong experience in the banking domain.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate).
- Solid programming skills in Java.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
- Familiarity with Maven, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Exposure to performance testing tools and practices.
