- Pay Rate: C $35.00 – C $40.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours

The Solutions Developer will support and enhance existing production tools used across Operations & Delivery while partnering with business and delivery teams to build new process improvement and automation solutions
. This role is ideal for a junior developer with hands‑on coding experience who thrives in a collaborative, Agile environment and is eager to contribute to both current initiatives and future enhancements.
- Support existing production tools across Operations & Delivery
- Design, build, test, debug, and document new automation and process improvement tools
- Collaborate with business partners and delivery teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Write, test, and debug code according to specifications provided by senior staff
- Participate in code reviews and ensure consistency with established coding standards
- Modify and maintain programming systems, including encoding, testing, and documentation
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior team members
- Ensure required documentation is stored in project repositories and support knowledge transfer to full-time staff
- Participate in after‑hours on‑call support rotation as required
- Work within an Agile delivery model to deploy solutions efficiently
Skills & Qualifications
- Computer Science degree (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a developer role with hands‑on coding
- Strong experience coding with HTML, CSS, and Java Script , including building and updating code from scratch
- Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic (VBA), MS Access, and MS Excel
- Advanced SQL knowledge with experience working with SQL databases
- Ability to use browser developer tools to understand website APIs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders
- Personable, team‑oriented mindset with an interactive and collaborative approach
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Part of the Core Automation Team within Operations Performance & Modernization
- Agile‑focused team of technically skilled subject matter experts
- Supports ideation, development, deployment, and governance of automation tools and workflows
- Works under immediate supervision with guidance from project leaders and senior developers
