This full-time Platform Backend Engineer role builds services connecting workflow execution, machine identity, secrets, event routing, and audit records. You will create infrastructure used by engineering teams and agentic AI workloads. The work emphasizes secure, reliable, operationally clear systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Build secure connectors for third-party APIs and managed credentials
Implement capability grants for customers and service requests
Develop onboarding automation for identity and compliance configuration
Own Git Ops pipelines across isolated customer environments
Support production readiness, recovery, and incident response
Requirements:
Production backend service experience with Go or Rust
OAuth 2.0, OIDC, token lifecycle, or access-control experience
Cloud KMS, envelope encryption, or key-hierarchy experience
Kafka or comparable event-driven architecture experience
Structured logging, metrics, tracing, and incident-response experience
Bring secure backend, identity, encryption, and multi-tenant systems experience to Kaseya’s platform engineering team in Toronto.
