Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize the transportation and storage of our commodities. The ideal candidate will handle logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency, while maintaining compliance with all regulations and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the logistics of commodity transportation from suppliers to clients.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and surpluses.
• Ensure compliance with national and international shipping regulations.
• Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to align logistics with business operations.
• Resolve any issues that arise in the transportation or storage of goods.
• Implement and maintain logistics management software to streamline operations.
• Prepare logistical reports and present findings to management on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management systems.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the agricultural sector or with perishable goods.
• Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping.
