- Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
- Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems
- Install or modify aircraft engines, mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems
- Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning, and reassemble
- Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as per Porter’s Policy and Transport Canada requirements
- Assist in Initial Training and Recurrent Training of Team Members
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
- Undertake other roles/duties as assigned

- Completion of secondary school is required
- A college diploma in aircraft maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational facility
- Valid M2 AME Licence
- Dash 8 - 400 experience/endorsement considered an asset
- Valid Ontario full “G” driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Ability to obtain a Canadian Passport
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and successfully complete the company screening process
