DESCRIPTION We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hydrovac/Flusher Operator to join our team in performing trenchless sewer and storm line rehabilitation and repair.
The Boiler Operator plays a vital role in RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Stop work in the area of an identified health or safety problem until resolved.
Conduct hydro excavation, sewer flushing / cleaning, catch basin cleaning and lateral flushing using appropriate equipment.
Set up / connect hoses and tools from hydro blast pump to operations ranging from 50 – 500 feet in length.
Set ups may include elevated work towers, vessels and buildings. Conduct pre and post operation vehicle and equipment inspections, perform daily operator level maintenance on hydro vac and flusher equipment report maintenance/service requirements.
Safely drive truck to and from various construction sites throughout the GTA / Ontario to facilitate timely completion of projects Work in outdoor field conditions in all ranges of weather and temperature.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS Proficient in driving the flusher/hydro vac truck.
Experience working in construction environment, preferably with water or sewer utilities.
Trenchless installation technician experience preferred.
Must be able to conduct physically strenuous work, work in confined spaces and all types of weather.
Be able to work independently, ability to handle problems and make sound decisions.
Ability to read and comprehend maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, safety rules.
Ability to comprehend instruction and perform tasks independent of direct supervision regarding; safety procedures, equipment use, maintenance, installation techniques and mobilization of crew to work site.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Flexibility within working hours and days.
Must be able to travel regularly .
