As the Menzies Aviation Tank Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising an operating team sampling and testing Jet A-1 for quality control, performing inspections and maintenance on facilities, fuel systems. Other responsibilities include receiving and dispatching jet fuel, via pipelines, railcars, and fuel trucks. Supervisors will be responsible for training, safety compliance, and audit reviews.

• Ensures the effective operation of the fuel farm by performing or assisting subordinates with operational duties
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/ hydrant systems
• Make required daily, weekly, and monthly petroleum product quality control, and maintenance
• Responsible for preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/hydrant systems including related equipment on fueling vehicles
• Perform routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government, and industry standards
• Comply with B836 specifications on fuel quality
• Transfer products and monitor storage tanks, pipelines, and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Conduct all work safely by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, provincial, and federal safe work policies/procedures
• Maintain harmony among workers and consult with the manager and/or HR Representative in resolving employee issues
• Assist Department Manager. Perform supervisory skills and communicate the operational status and objectives to Management
• Must be able to clean up and keep the Fuel Facility always looking presentable
• Other relevant duties as assigned

  Experience:
  
  Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada. Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license. Must pass all pre-employment testing including a physical, color vision test, audio test. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English. Fundamental math and computer skills. Mechanically inclined and able to lift and move up to 70lbs. Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  
  Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airport badges. Work is done primarily outdoors
