Aircraft Fueler | Toronto Pearson Airport YYZ | Great Benefits

Join our team and soar to new heights with a career at Menzies Aviation! We are looking for a dedicated individual to ensure smooth operations on the tarmac.

Main Accountabilities
  • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment.
  • Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately account for fuel transactions.
  • Maintain equipment in a clean and functional condition.
  • Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
  • Defuel aircraft as directed.
  • Use fuel trucks and hydrant carts to fuel aircraft.
  • Lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment.
  • Calculate fuel distributions for a variety of aircraft.
  • Drive light and heavy duty vehicles.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with company and airline procedures and policies.
  • Attend mandatory training imposed by the company and airlines.
  • Maintain attendance record at stations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Class G driver’s license in good standing and required airport identification/security passes.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Must obtain and hold all required security clearances.
  • Must pass and maintain the D AVOP issued by the GTAA (both written & practical).
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in Canada.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable – customers and colleagues rely on you.

Pay rate: $27.00/hr
