EF Torquay Summer School is seeking an empathetic, organised and proactive Residence Coordinator for summer 2026
.

• Full-time
• 5 days a week
• Fixed-term contract between June – August 2026
• Accommodation and full board

• Ensures the smooth running of the studentresidences
• Toensure the residences provide a comfortable and safe living environment
• Toprovidethe highest level of customer service at all times
• Tohelp maintain ‘one team’, where the different departments liaise and interact
  -effectively and efficiently
• Allocatesnew bookings to residential accommodationon internal allocation system
• Assists customers with residence queries, ensuring prompt follow up and excellent customer service
• Liaises with external suppliers where cleaning/maintenance issues are reported
• Completesweekly occupancy statistics
• Ensures allocationinformationis accurate and sent on time
• Preparesarrival & departure documents and provides keys for all arrivals
• Follows up any disciplinary issuestogether with the Summer Residence Leadand ensures sanctions are applied in line with EF’sresidence rules and regulations
• Liaises with the team regarding any issues reported for residential students
• Participates in student intakesand first week chats
• Shares emergency duty on a rota basis

• A flexible approach to hours of work undertaken is essential
• Highly motivated, energetic and positive
• Must be a team player that can lead from the front, be outgoing and have great attention to detail
• Previous experience in a customer service environment, ideally working with young people and strong emotional intelligence
• You should be passionate about customer service and providing quality
• Ability to work under pressure and in a high paced environment
• Able to remain calm under pressure & to diffuse difficult situations
• In terms of mindset, we all have a ‘going above and beyond, never settling for the status quo' mentality
