Mechanical Inspector 6-Month Fixed Term Contract Day & Night Shifts Available Up to £56,000  £3,000 Shift Allowance (for nights) Motorsport Sector Were supporting a leading motor sport organisation in their search for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join on a 6-month fixed term contract, with opportunities available across both day and night shifts.

The Role:

Inspection of precision mechanical components to ensure they meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Use of a wide range of inspection methods, including hand tools, gauges, and CMM (where applicable). Reviewing engineering drawings and CAD data to verify part compliance. Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate documentation. Liaising with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns efficiently.

The Ideal Candidate :
Background in precision inspection within motor sport or high-performance engineering. Strong understanding of mechanical components and machining/manufacturing processes. Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles. Experienced with a variety of inspection tools and measurement techniques. Flexible, proactive, and able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
