Job PurposeWe have an exciting opportunity in our Escapade Team for a Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our venue and facilities operate seamlessly at the highest standards of performance and presentation. You will work within the Facilities and Estates Team, ensuring the venue remains fully functional, presentable, and aligned with our brand’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities- General Maintenance & Repairs: Perform general building maintenance, including carpentry, joinery repairs, plumbing, ceiling repairs, re‑lamping, carpet and flooring repairs, tiling, and furniture adjustments; conduct minor painting, decorating and upkeep as directed by the Maintenance Manager; assist external contractors as required to ensure repairs and upgrades meet the highest standards; respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations efficiently to minimise disruptions, including guest concerns;
diagnose and repair malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other building systems. - Facilities Operations & Compliance: Supervise and coordinate daily tasks for the facilities and estates team; work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure maintenance is kept to the right standard; collaborate to implement preventive maintenance programs; conduct regular property inspections, including guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities; conduct daily site walks to monitor and ensure high standards of cleanliness; document findings;
ensure compliance checks on all building systems and safety‑critical infrastructure; comply with health and safety regulations; liaise with housekeeping, front office, F&B teams; maintain accurate records; work with contractors and vendors; train, develop and motivate maintenance team members; promote sustainability initiatives. - Guest Service & Engagement: Provide professional, friendly, responsive service to guests, promptly addressing their requests and concerns; maintain a professional demeanor.
- Sustainability: Promote, implement and act with the sustainability initiatives as directed by Escapade Silverstone.

Performance will be measured against the Personal Development Review (PDR) including:
- Quality of Work – Ensure tasks are completed to a high standard with a right‑first‑time mentality.
- First Time Fix – Maintain efficiency in resolving maintenance issues promptly.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance across the site.
- Proven experience in facilities, building or hospitality maintenance.
- Technical proficiency in carpentry and general building repairs.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
- A proactive, can‑do attitude with a passion for excellence.
- Experience in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel or luxury lifestyle brand is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IT systems and Microsoft Office.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evening and weekend work.
- Full clean UK driving licence is desirable.
Additional ad‑hoc responsibilities will arise which will be considered to form a reasonable part of the role and role requirements may be subject to change from time to time.
