• Discuss with the senior chef team the schedule of work and plan of action to be carried out daily to complete the day’s events to a high standard and in a timely manner, including staffing levels.
• Complete the HACCP paperwork with catering staff.
• Attend weekly meetings as required.
• Ensure effective cost control and meet or exceed target GP.
• Manage day-to-day cooking and service to consistently high standards as instructed by the head chef.
• Understand fast-paced QSR / Pizza Restaurant operation.
• Undertake other duties or training as required.
• Use stock effectively with correct stock rotation.
• Help research and develop new dishes as required by the head chef.
• Help with monthly stock taking as instructed by the head chef.
• Keep procurement systems up to date and log delivery data and receipts.
• Coordinate opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate logistics and kitchen team to ensure safe and timely delivery and movement of food around site.

• Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and progress in career.
• Current food hygiene certificate.
• Well‑groomed appearance with suitable chef whites, footwear, and knives.
• Effective communication with staff and customers.
• Flexible working hours to meet business demands.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• General IT skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to control a kitchen environment.
• High culinary skills with an understanding of industry trends.
• Cost awareness and ability to operate kitchens under financial guidelines.
• Relevant sector experience within QSR / Pizza restaurant.

Our new Karting Track will boast an in‑house operated pizza restaurant and bar, open to kart racers and the public, offering a delivery service across the venue. We source local ingredients and cook from scratch. This role is part of a world‑class venue with 45 full‑time chefs, managers, supervisors, and front‑of‑house staff, plus a pool of over 50 part‑time colleagues.
