The Community Fridge operates to cut down on Food waste and is open 3 times a week at the Methodist Church hall, Towcester, and has over 10 collection slots at local supermarkets.
Volunteers are needed to help collect food from supermarkets which involves just turning up at a given time, collecting food donated and then taking to and unloading at the hall.
Volunteering time between 30 mins to an hour.

Availability DetailsCollections take place between 8 - 9am from Aldi supermarket in Towcester, and 8.30-9pm from Tesco, Towcester and Milton Keynes, and Asda Milton Keynes (Saturday afternoon) on the above days.
It is only needed to volunteer for one session a week and support will be available from existing volunteers.
