Regional Supply Chain Manager – Europe
Job Summary The Regional Supply Chain Manager – Europe is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations across the European region for a fast-growing company in the stormwater management industry. This role focuses on strategic logistics planning, 3PL and transportation network management, and designing scalable supply chain solutions to support sales growth and market expansion across diverse European markets.
The ideal candidate combines operational expertise with a commercial mindset, capable of driving efficiency, reducing costs, and building a supply chain infrastructure that supports sustainable growth in a technically complex and compliance-driven industry.
Key Responsibilities Logistics & Distribution Strategy Design, implement, and optimize a robust European logistics network to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of stormwater management systems and components.
Manage third‑party logistics (3PL) providers, including contract negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), cost performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure logistics operations comply with EU transportation regulations, environmental standards, and health & safety requirements.
Support Sales Growth & Market Expansion Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to align supply chain capabilities with commercial goals and customer requirements.
Anticipate and plan for capacity needs based on pipeline activity, seasonal demand, and new product launches.
Support the establishment of new distribution hubs or manufacturing partners to enable faster market access and improved service levels.
Network Optimization & Supply Chain Design Lead strategic planning and execution of an optimal supply and distribution network across Europe, considering local market needs, regulatory environments, and total landed cost.
Analyze trade‑offs between cost, lead time, and service to recommend network adjustments and route‑to‑market strategies.
Inventory & Demand Management Oversee regional demand planning and inventory management processes to ensure product availability while minimizing working capital.
Partner with production planning and procurement teams to maintain accurate forecasts and optimal stock levels across multiple sites.
Cross‑functional Collaboration Work with engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams to understand product configurations, site requirements, and supply chain constraints.
Act as a strategic partner to finance, legal, compliance, and ESG teams to ensure operational excellence and transparency across the supply chain.
Team & Supplier Leadership Lead and develop a small regional supply chain / logistics team or act as a matrix leader across functions.
Manage relationships with key suppliers, contract manufacturers, and transport partners, driving KPIs and performance improvements.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business (Master’s or MBA preferred)7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics roles, including at least 3 years in a regional or pan‑European leadership role Industry experience in construction materials, water management systems, infrastructure, or civil / environmental engineering products preferred
Strong understanding of EU‑wide logistics, customs, and regulatory frameworks
Demonstrated success managing 3PLs and optimizing supply networks to support business growth
Proficient in ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and demand planning tools; experience with supply chain analytics
Excellent project management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Fluent in English; other European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are a plus Willingness to travel regionally (approx. 25–40%)Preferred Certifications
APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Six Sigma / Lean Certification
