Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with volume house building experience? Did you live in Cornwall? The client is open to both developer and contracting new build residential experience! A new opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor due to new projects starting in the area. Joining a reputable business who delivers mixed tenure housing solutions including open market, social and affordable homes.

As a key member of the commercial team, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling costs throughout the lifecycle of development projects. You will collaborate closely with departments such as Development, Construction, and Design to ensure commercial efficiency, cost certainty, and best value in all procurement and contractual arrangements. You will be responsible for two sites: site 1 – a medium‑scale development, and site 2 – a volume scheme over multiple phases, undertaking the full commercial process from pre‑construction through to final account.

A well‑organised and detailed surveyor is required, who has excellent communication ability and strong IT skills.
