Summary

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work from our Truro office, as part of our Finance Team and in collaboration with other departments. Part‑time hours (a minimum of 25 hours per week over a 5‑day week) may be considered.

Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience working in Accounts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service, administrative and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
  • Flexibility and a solution‑driven approach to work
  • GCSE Maths at grade 6 or above
Responsibilities
  • Managing payment queries from our internal teams and directly from our Members
  • Managing and handling payments, direct debit instructions and refunds of insurance premiums
  • Making calls to Members to discuss late or missing payments
  • Processing invoices and setting up purchasing and claims payments
  • Handling and preparing for banking all monies received, in accordance with agreed company procedures
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations
