Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsbury's stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:
Key responsibilities- Operating machinery
- Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
- At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies.
- At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

Position detailsPart‑time In‑Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Truro store on a fixed‑term basis until March 2026. 25.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and we offer various shift patterns with 5‑ and 6‑day working available.
Shift pattern- Sunday: 06:00 to 11:00
- Monday: 05:30 to 09:30
- Tuesday: 05:30 to 09:30
- Wednesday:
Day off - Thursday: 05:30 to 09:30
- Friday: 05:30 to 09:30
- Saturday: 05:30 to 10:00
You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
