About the Role
We’re seeking an Engineer (discipline open — Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) based in Italy , ideally near Milan , with the flexibility to travel to project sites nationally, including ongoing work near Milan and upcoming developments in Cerignola (South Italy) .
This position suits a motivated engineering professional with 3–6 years’ experience and strong BESS project exposure , eager to work across design, construction, and commissioning phases within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
Support and coordinate the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale BESS projects.
Provide technical input on design, installation, and system integration.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
Assist in project planning, progress tracking, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with TSOs, grid operators, and engineering consultants for grid connection and compliance activities.
What You Bring
Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil).
3–6 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) exposure.
Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong technical and coordination skills.
Fluent English and Italian , written and spoken.
EU work eligibility and willingness to travel to project sites across Italy.
