As a Senior Data Centre Electrical Engineer at Arup, you'll play a vital role in designing and delivering the electrical infrastructure for state-of-the-art data centres. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to Arup's global expertise in data centre design.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of data centre design principles.
• Undertake electrical design elements for major data centre projects.
• Work closely with general contractors, other engineers, architects, and project management teams.
• Manage the production of drawings.
• Prepare and coordinate electrical reports and specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of others, ensuring effective collaboration with engineers of other disciplines and project managers.
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for electrical engineering in the context of data centres. The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
• Extensive experience in data centre design, with a proven track record on medium- to large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver electrical engineering solutions for major projects, specifically data centres.
• Experience leading teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
• A strong understanding of balancing engineering priorities on diverse projects.
• Proven ability to quickly develop successful client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English.
