As a Senior Data Centre Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge data centre solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to Arup's global expertise in data centre design.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of data centre design principles.
• Undertake mechanical design elements for major data centre projects.
• Collaborate closely with general contractors, other engineers, architects, and project management teams.
• Manage the production of drawings.
• Prepare and coordinate mechanical reports and specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of others, ensuring effective collaboration with engineers of other disciplines and project managers.
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for data center design. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
• Extensive experience in data centre design, including a proven track record on medium to large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver mechanical engineering solutions for major projects, specifically data centres.
• Experience leading teams on multidisciplinary projects.
• A strong understanding of balancing engineering priorities on diverse projects.
• Proven ability to develop successful client relationships quickly.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English.
