Project Engineer - Completions and Wellbore Intervention - Lower Completions

Join Baker Hughes as a Project Engineer in our lower completions team.

• Provide skilled engineering support for all current customer contracts, key field product application, and completion product performance.
• Develop Technical Operating Manuals, hook‑up drawings, operating procedures, system limits, decision‑tree/matrix, torque & drag, tubing‑move models, and review them with customers and Global Engineering teams.
• Determine equipment specifications/ratings, drawings, running procedures, and equipment compatibility for the sales team according to customer requirements.
• Provide technical training to customers and Baker Hughes employees as necessary.
• Assist with well‑specific job design based on applications and review with customers before handover to operations.
• Assist with technical requirements during pre‑tendering phase and technical proposals for tender submission.
• Lead new technology introduction and collaborate with product line to implement it.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting rig operations.
• Investigate unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action.
• Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies and legal compliance requirements.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or a high school diploma/GED) with at least 10 years of experience in lower completions.
• Exceptional knowledge in lower completions (cased‑hole / open‑hole gravel‑pack operations), preferably deep‑water operations.
• Excellent technical writing skills and proficiency in CAD and MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of open‑hole and cased‑hole completion systems.
• Thorough understanding of down‑hole hydraulics, torque & drag, tubing‑move models, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work with little supervision and collaborate effectively with a team.
