HSE Manager – Ankara Ahiboz Plant

Knauf Türkiye is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for our plant in Ankara. The role is full‑time and suited to a mid‑senior level professional with a strong background in safety, environmental compliance, and people management.

• Ensuring implementation, updating, review and auditing of the company HSE systems in line with corporate and regional guidelines.
• Monitoring effective implementation of safety and environment procedures and updating them in line with legislative changes.
• Motivating and familiarizing all personnel with company procedures and provided safety equipment.
• Conducting safety audits on site, providing instruction and training to company and contractor staff.
• Conducting HSE trainings, meetings and tool‑box talks.
• Reviewing employee safety programs to assess adequacy.
• Defining and supporting special emergency, rescue, safety, fire protection / firefighting systems and necessary training.
• Supporting company safety, environmental and quality policies and programs.
• Providing technical and professional proposals and advising to protect company property and personnel.
• Preparing annual HSE objectives and action plan.
• Inspecting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly all activities and facilities.
• Recommending process and product safety features to reduce employees’ exposure to chemical, physical and biological hazards.
• Reminding all workers of the best safety policies and targeting zero accidents.
• Determining annual plant safety investment budget items and ensuring 100 % completion rate within the year.
• Leading implementation of LOTO activities in accordance with global standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 10 years proven people‑management experience.
• Environment Officer certificate issued by the Ministry of Environment.
• B‑Class Safety Specialist certificate.
• ISO 9001, ISO 18001, ISO 14001 certificates.
• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Excellent command of English.
• Good knowledge of QDMS & Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and project‑management skills.
• Decisions‑making and result‑oriented mindset.
• High cooperation and persuasion skills.
• Residency in Ankara.
• No travel restrictions.
