Electrical Engineering – Ground Systems
Full-time Ankara, Turkey
We are interested in candidates with general Electrical and Electronics Engineering experience.
Responsibilities- Architect, specify, and integrate subsytems into a fully‑fledged system
- Work in a diverse engineering environment to provide detailed electrical design
- Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, thermal, harness, manufacturing, production, and software engineers
- Work on electrical power system, develop technical requirements, and perform system level design trade studies
- Consult engineers and contractors during development, procurement, construction, and deployment phases
- Collaborate in the development of ICD, IDD and test documents
- Determine the technical requirements of COTS products and coordinate the purchase of the equipment
- Provide engineering support to technicians and customers for troubleshooting and operation
- Build electrical bench/hardware‑in‑the‑loop setups to facilitate development and testing
- Define and document interconnections between subsystems and components via block diagrams and schematics
- Write and maintain documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Excellent foundations in electronics design and system integration
- First principles approach to various different problems in the domain of electrical engineering
- Strong desire to learn and grow on the job
- Ability to read and write schematics and diagrams as well as follow operation and maintenance manuals
- Hands‑on with hardware, you know your way around instrumentation tools and test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal/function generators, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzer, thermal chambers, etc.
- A general understanding of power electronics with emphasis on wire harnessing
- Good understanding of building and site grounding as well as lightning protection
- Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (RS232, CAN, I2C, USB, etc.)
- Familiarity with AC‑DC and DC‑DC converters and topologies
- Familiarity with power distribution systems and related equipment and topologies
- Basic soldering capability
- Python/Micropython programming, and some experience with embedded programming is a huge plus
- Experience with CAD software (Autodesk, etc.) is a huge plus
- Experience with solar panels, UPS systems, backup generators is a huge plus
- A good understanding of relevant MIL‑STD documents
- A good understanding of Electromagnetic Interference
- Familiarity with commercial vendors
- Knowledge of HVAC
- Familiarity with National Electric Code and other relevant safety codes
