Our mission is to harness the power of mobile robotics and artificial intelligence to redefine industries, optimize operations, and bring innovation to market more rapidly.
We pride ourselves on developing sophisticated, safe, and efficient robots that tackle real business and societal challenges.
Milvus Robotics is bridging the gap between robotics and commercial viability. We're applying the technological potential of autonomy, mobile robots and Artificial Intelligence (AI) across industries to improve production, operations and time to market. Milvus Robotics is proud to develop high-quality robots that see, reason and act to meet business and societal needs.
Who you are? You’re a systems-minded electronics expert who enjoys turning complex requirements into robust, manufacturable designs. As a Senior Electronics System Engineer, you will own the electronic architecture end-to-end, mentor teammates, and collaborate across embedded, software, mechanical, QA, and operations to deliver reliable products at scale.
What you’ll do day-to-day?- Own the electronic system architecture at product level (power distribution, I/O map, safety chain, network topology), ensuring clarity of interfaces and versioned baselines.
- Define and maintain EBOM/MBOM/SBOM and multi-level product trees; manage variants/options and configuration rules.
- Lead component selection & AVL (derating criteria, lifecycle/obsolescence, second-source strategy, RoHS/REACH evidence).
- Run PLM/ERP processes end-to-end (item masters, revisions, effectivity, ECR/ECO/Deviation/Concession, release management).
- Author and govern documentation: specifications, ICDs, interface matrices, compliance checklists, DVP&R plans, change notes.
- Prepare and control production & quality documents: work instructions, inspection and test plans (IQC/PQC/OQC), EOL test requirements, traceability schemes, acceptance criteria.
- Drive data integrity across ECAD/MCAD, PLM, and ERP; ensure part attributes, docs, and links are consistent and auditable.
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) and close actions to schedule/cost/quality targets.
- Measure and improve: lead continuous‑improvement projects on cost‑down, DFM/DFT at system level, FPY, and document cycle time.
- Supplier & lab coordination for component qualifications, certificates, and compliance evidence; keep the technical file current.
- Mentor teammates in product data management, change control, and documentation best practices.
- Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics (or related);
Master’s is a plus. - 7+ years in electronic system design/integration with strong ownership of BOMs, product structures, and configuration control.
- Hands‑on experience with PLM/ERP and change processes (ECR/ECO).
- Proven component engineering skills (AVL, lifecycle/obsolescence, compliance, second‑source).
- Solid grasp of system‑level power, I/O, safety, and communications (CAN/CAN‑FD, RS‑485/Modbus, Ethernet) and how they map into ICDs and tests.
- Familiarity with quality systems and audits (ISO 9001; exposure to machinery/safety standards like ISO 13849/ISO 12100 is a plus).
- Excellent cross‑functional communication in English; ability to lead reviews and drive decisions.
- Experience structuring variants/options (platforms, top modules) and effectivity rules.
- Cost engineering exposure (should‑cost, VA/VE) and continuous improvement tools (8D, 5‑Why, fishbone, VSM).
- Knowledge of traceability & serialization, part marking, labeling, and document numbering conventions.
- Familiarity with compliance documentation (CE/EMC/RED records, DoC/CoC, test reports) and supplier PPAP/FAI concepts.
- Understanding of manufacturing test at system level (EOL requirements definition and data capture).
- Exposure to environmental/qualification testing (temperature, vibration, ingress).
- Understanding of functional safety concepts (PL/SIL determination, architectures).
- Prior mentorship/technical leadership and supplier/lab coordination experience.
- An opportunity to join a leading robotics and autonomous systems company
- A flat organizational structure with a dynamic, youthful team
- Competitive net salary package
- Comprehensive health and life insurance coverage
- Various paid time‑off options, including birthdays, relocation, personal leave, in addition to annual leave
- Regular barbeque or “happy hour” events
- Relocation assistance for those coming from outside the city
