We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
** R&D Software Engineer
** to design, develop, and support software solutions that power Clario’s products. In this role, you’ll contribute to our software architecture, deliver high-quality code, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable software. You’ll work within an Agile environment and help drive engineering excellence across the development lifecycle.##
** What You’ll Be Doing
*** Design, develop, code, test, debug, and implement software applications across multiple platforms using broadly defined specifications.
* Contribute to architectural discussions and development planning in collaboration with team leads and managers.
* Deliver multiple components or features within your technical specialization; may own portions of larger projects.
* Participate in problem-solving with peers to address complex technical challenges.
* Conduct code reviews to share knowledge, ensure quality, and promote best practices.
* Collaborate with Software Quality Engineering to maximize test automation and integrate testing throughout the development cycle.
* Support cross-functional teams by providing technical insights and application-level expertise.
* Maintain documentation and adhere to internal SOPs and development standards.## ##
** What We Look For
*** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical experience in software development.
* Strong understanding of your technical specialization and common software engineering patterns.
* Experience using Source Code Management tools (e.g., Git) and Work Item Tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops).
* Familiarity with software engineering frameworks and development methodologies.
* Basic knowledge of risk management techniques.
* Experience with unit testing and related design patterns.
* Knowledge of Agile development processes is a plus.
* Experience with Dev Ops practices and cloud-based solutions is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
