People Cert is looking for a talented Senior Software Developer who will be part of our Software Development Team, and will relocate to Athens, Greece. You will join a team which consists of more than 100 members who design and develop applications that support & manage our certification exams, conducted 24x7 worldwide. Our applications are web-based, built on cloud (Azure) based web services/applications using various technologies including JavaScript, Redis, oAuth, .Net,

SQL server etc, iOS & android native app development and video streaming.

As a Senior Software Developer, your tasks will include the following:

• Execute full lifecycle software development, write well-designed, testable, efficient code and document the code according to People Cert guidelines.
• Participate actively in the design of the project plan, monitor its progress, and report daily on the progress of allocated tasks to the manager and Project Management team.
• Perform unit tests and preliminary debugging to ensure that the programs work as planned and report to the Software Quality Assurance team through the Wrike collaboration tool.
• Conduct research for innovative technologies, tools, and solutions, and transfer knowledge and know-how to other developers.
• Work effectively in a team environment and liaise with other team members to achieve the best possible results.
• Adhere to and implement procedures, policies, and work instructions as per the People Cert Integrated Management System.
• Ensure your work and presence align with the company’s values “Quality - Passion - Integrity – Innovation” at all times.

What we look for:

• University Degree in Informatics Technology or relevant field; a Postgraduate Degree will be considered a plus.
• Demonstrable experience in utilizing AI-powered coding assistants like Git Hub Copilot, Git Lab's AI tools, or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to creatively integrate AI tools into the software development lifecycle to enhance efficiency, code quality, and innovation.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a software developer.
• Excellent understanding of OOP; knowledge of frameworks and design patterns will be highly appreciated.
• Strong skills in ASP.NET, C#, and JavaScript.
• Ability to work in a team under guidelines, using agile software development (SCRUM).
• Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired; Language Cert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Well organized, self-driven, flexible, and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
