Overview
This role is working for a very large global, PE‑backed business that has experienced significant growth over the last few years. They are a well‑known brand that is now looking to professionalise the commercial and FP&A offering across the globe. They did £6 billion in sales in 2023 and are still growing around 100% year on year.
Our client is looking for someone who wants to be a key member of their Global FP&A team — someone who thrives on turning complex numbers into clear stories that shape big decisions.
You will be reporting directly to the Group Director of FP&A, and working closely with the Group FD, Group CFO and Investors. They are looking for a successor for the current Director too.
You will own the monthly forecasting and performance management rhythms, ensuring the internal and external stakeholders know how the business is doing and where they are heading.
What you’ll be doing- Owning the global FP&A reporting cycles (internal & external).
- Leading monthly and weekly forecasting, translating numbers into meaningful, actionable insight.
- Responsible for creating the "performance story" for leadership, investors, and analysts.
- Producing high‑impact dashboards and analysis for the CFO, CEO and Board.
- Developing dynamic models for scenario planning, capital allocation, and investment decisions.
- Benchmarking using competitors and identifying opportunities to improve internally.
- Driving continuous improvement in processes, tools, and systems.
- Business partnering for one of their global regions.
- Managing an overall team of 5‑6 people and supporting them with coaching and professional development.
- Ensuring the region you partner with are proficient users of the various systems and tools available.
- Has worked in a PE or large listed environment ideally.
- Is proficient with Excel and financial modelling.
- Is a strong business partner.
- Has large global company exposure.
- Has led a group role previously and has extensive management experience.
- Can communicate and present financial information in a story‑telling capacity.
- Enjoys the analytical side and working closely with the business.
The role will be 2‑3 days in the office and offers a competitive package including base pay, a car, bonus and benefits.
