Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity for a Dealership Management Accountant within the Newport area has arisen for our Motor Trade Client. Working within a multi-award-winning Car Dealership group, the successful Management Accountant will be well versed in providing an exceptional accounting service.

• Starting salary of £32,000per annum.
• Access to a very achievable bonus of £5,000 per annum, which has been achieved consistently for circa 10 years.
• 22 days annual holiday allowance plus the 8 bank holidays, rising to 25 days with service.

• Prior/current experience within a Dealership/fast‑paced Accountancy position.
• Highly organised, and strong team player.
• IT literate – preferably a strong understanding with management system software.

• Production of management accounts for dealership sites.
• Full monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet.
• Support non‑financial managers in the business.
• Support the central accounts team.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Kerridge system and to ensure full compliance with our client’s accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of files and returns for both internal and external auditors as required.

Our Client is seeking a Dealership Accountant who has a proven track record within an Accounts Department and ideally holds both Motor Trade and Dealership experience.
