Location:
Carlisle, Cumbria (office-based)
Hours:
Full-time, permanent
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
ASA Recruitment is representing a well-established and growing renewable energy business based in Carlisle, Cumbria. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to hire a highly organised Administrator with marketing skills to support day-to-day operations and contribute to ongoing marketing and communications activity.
This is a varied, admin-led role with exposure to marketing and digital activity. It would suit someone who enjoys structured office work while also supporting creative, marketing and communications tasks.
Key responsibilities
Administration
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider team
• Manage inboxes, documentation and internal systems
• Prepare and format reports, proposals, presentations and client documentation
• Maintain accurate records, databases and CRM systems
• Coordinate meetings, schedules and internal communications
• Support operational and finance teams with general administrative tasks
Marketing & communications
• Support marketing activity across digital channels
• Assist with social media content creation, scheduling and engagement
• Update website content, case studies and company materials
• Help produce brochures, pitch decks and marketing collateral
• Liaise with external suppliers such as designers or agencies when required
• Track and report on basic marketing activity and engagement
About you
• Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident written communication skills
• Experience or genuine interest in marketing, communications or digital content
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Experience with CRM systems, social media platforms or website CMS tools is beneficial
• Proactive, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities
• Interest in renewable energy or sustainability is advantageous
