Estimator; Build

Are you an experienced Construction Estimator with a passion for setting up and leading your own team? We are looking for a proactive and skilled Estimator to join this business, in what will (initially be) a standalone role, with the potential to expand the team over the coming years. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the Estimating team and make a significant impact in the business

Based in Liverpool City Centre, this business operates as a Main Contractor and specialises in projects across Construction, including New Build & Maintenance across a variety of sectors

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the Estimating department from the ground up
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Work on tenders up to 2m in value
• Price tenders accurately and competitively to win new business
• Implement and manage estimating software, and ideally have experience using Conquest
• Engage in business development activities to identify and secure new opportunities

You will have:

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator
• Proficiency in Conquest software or similar estimating tools
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in pricing tenders and business development
• Ability to potentially mentor and grow the team
