Salary – €70K - €80K plus package

About the Company:

Our client here at Inform3 have a current requirement for a Site Manager to join their team. You will be working with a very reputable Main Contractor who specialise in large public works contracts valued up to €50M.

The successful candidate will be managing a new build school development valued at €20m in Skerries, Co. Dublin that is due to start in the next number of weeks.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience working on modularised projects and working on school projects would be beneficial.

The Role
:

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of new build / extension development.
• Be the number one on site for all activities and act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Report into and support the Company Director and Contracts Managers.
• Oversee commercial projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Consult with local authorities and clients when required.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials, and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
• Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements:

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar.
• A minimum of 6-7 years proven experience with a Main Contractor in NI or ROI.
• Schools experience beneficial.
• Must have experience work on projects out of the ground through to and handover stages.
• Strong Trades or Engineering background is desirable.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Clean Driver’s License.
